The Ranking System Ranks Outdoor Track Only, Indoor Will Soon Be Ranked Separately. The Ranking System is usually updated daily during the busy season. If you see a problem let us know and we will deal with it. There are several problems that frequently occur and we do what we can to resolve them. Here are some of our most common issues and their resolution: Problem)I do not see a performance that I know occured at a meet. Resolution)Give us the information on the performance. Name, mark, event and a link to the meet on the web. If you see the link already on our Ranking Home page, let us know that. Sometimes, these links are posted while the performances are still being loaded. If that is the case, the next refresh will pick it up but let us know just in case we missed the link. Problem)I see two people listed with similar names that are actually the same person. Resolution)Give us the names and the division and event. We have a process for resolving name issues but may overlook some spellings. During the season this will happen from time to time, but we need to know so that the final ranking will be clean. Problem)I see a performance that I know is not right. Resolution)Give us the division and event. The name may not be required if it is obvious. For example, somtimes performances in feet and inches are labled meters. A high jump of 5'5 may be printed 5.5m indicating meters and is not correct. It would be converted to over 16 feet if not caught. Let us know, and we'll correct it. Problem)I scored well enough in a multi event single event to make the list for individuals. Resolution)Sorry, individual performances in a multi compeition don't carry over to the single event lists. Problem)I am not in the top 20 for my event, but have tied the 20th performance. Resolution)All American Status will be granted to anyone that ties the score for number twenty on the list. In the final list, we could have 23, 24 or even more make the cut. The same is true for the Honor Role cutoff. General Information: If you don't see your performance ranked tell us. But we need the link to the results on the web. Telling us about an association or state meet doesn't help us find it. Send us the link or the Hytek file. Ask your timing people if they send the files to us. If you go to a meet, ask at registration if the meet is being Ranked. If they are Ranking it, ask them to email results to Webmaster@EliteYouth.com
